My name is Sam Cleveland and I created Zombisoft as a place to show my work and talk about development. I have been doing web development professionally for the past 2 years. I work for the Computer and Information Sciences IT staff at UAB handling the development and maintenance of our web servers and websites. I work mainly in PHP and PHP based CMS such as Drupal and WordPress. I currently develop two from-scratch websites, one using the CodeIgniter framework and the other using Perl and the Mason framework.

I am also the project manager for the Smart Device Lab and have been actively developing Android apps with a small team of student developers. Also in the Smart Device Lab I have been working on security research focusing on the security of syncing applications such as Bump. I have two applications currently developed to aid in our research. They can be found in the Android section of this site.
